Alphabet is the parent company of Google and generates most of its revenue from advertising shown in Search, YouTube and across partner sites. Beyond ads, the group runs Google Cloud, the Android operating system, the Chrome browser and a hardware line that includes Pixel phones. A collection of ventures known as Other Bets, among them the Waymo self-driving unit, pursues longer-horizon projects.
